Bajadita in Bayonne

"My boyfriend and I enjoyed dinner on the wooden terrace of Bajadita with view on the Nive. We started with a plate of local cheeses and charcuterie. Lovely! As a main course I ordered the squid and my boyfriend went for the grilled fish. Although it might seem a bit strange to order fish and seafood in a mainly meat restaurant, both dishes were excellent. Service is very friendly and keen on explaining the menu. Be warned though, this is a popular place, so make sure you have a reservation. During our dinner the waiters had to send away lots of disappointed people."

"Charming location overlooking the river. We stopped here for a quick lunch while visiting Bayonne on our way from San Sebastian to Bordeaux. Delicious ravioli! Can’t comment on the wine list as we were driving so we only had soda."

"Very lively ( therefore noisy) place in the town centre.We ordered the 3 course menu, which was not outstanding but right for the price.Believe we made the wrong choice since everybody else was having steaks and hamburguers. The service was also fine.We may give it again a try in the future."

"Boom bang Bowser! This restaurant got me feeling saucy in my special purpose. For starters, my wife and I shared the truffle & mushroom ravioli and the foie gras. Both were delicious, but the raviolis are the best thing I've eaten in quite some time. For dinner, my wife had the xipirons a la plancha (pictured) and I the lamb. Everything was excellent and the staff and a fun and casual demeanor. They spoke English, but stayed patient as I fumbled through practicing my French. I highly recommend and I will defininely return."

"Food was good and service was really good. Had the truffle and mushroom ravioli, beef tartare and the veal t-bone. The ravioli was really flavourful and creamy and the veal was really tender. A lot of restaurants are closed on Sunday but good thing this one was opened and was quite good."

"Well located and great quality for very reasonable price! We took the dinner set menu and everything was so delicious The truffle ravioli was amazing! Fish and steak were both so good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They speak good English so made it much easier for me to take my order. I’ll def come back!"
